Bobby Finke Out Touches Baylor Nelson in Men’s 400M IM

Florida’s Bobby Finke overtook SwimMAC youngster Baylor Nelson down the stretch to capture the men’s 400 IM at the 2021 Toyota U.S. Open Championships. Finke lived up to his moniker by finking Nelson with a scoring 27.34 final split to win in 4:17.39. Nelson, meanwhile, touched just behind for second-place honors with a 4:17.81. Collyn Gagne rounded out the podium with a third-place effort of 4:19.43.
