Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 open-water qualifier Jordan Wilimovsky took the men’s 1500m Freestyle A Final in 15:15.28, good for the second-fastest swim by an American in 2021. Will Gallant and Marwan El-Kamash finished second and third respectively. For Wilimovsky, the win gave him the second TYR Pro Swim Series win of his career. His time shaved 15 seconds from his previous performance in the mile, which came at the 2020 Toyota U.S. Open last November.
